Customer Cybersecurity Awareness
Guidance for ARKAN customers to reduce cybersecurity risks, prevent phishing attempts, and securely access ARKAN services.
ARKAN helps customers securely use ARKAN Cloud Voice, Cloud Connect, customer portal, support portal, help center, and approved communication channels.
Customers should follow the guidance below to reduce the risk of phishing, impersonation, fraud attempts, and unauthorized access.
Use ARKAN official channels
Use only ARKAN official channels when accessing services, opening support tickets, requesting service changes, or communicating with ARKAN.
This includes ARKAN official website, help center, customer portal, support portal, and approved support communications.
Beware of phishing and impersonation
Be cautious of suspicious emails, SMS messages, phone calls, links, or attachments claiming to be from ARKAN or related service providers.
Attackers may use phishing, smishing, vishing, phone scams, impersonation calls, suspicious links, or fraud attempts to obtain sensitive information or request unauthorized actions.
Protect credentials and OTPs
Do not share passwords, OTPs, access codes, API keys, portal credentials, or sensitive service information with anyone.
ARKAN will not ask customers to share passwords or OTPs through email, phone calls, SMS, or messaging channels.
Verify suspicious requests
Verify unusual requests before taking action, especially requests related to customer portal access, support tickets, service changes, number management, billing or subscriptions, technical configuration, or account and contact information updates.
Use approved ARKAN support channels to confirm suspicious or unexpected requests.
Secure devices used to access ARKAN services
Customers should protect devices used to access ARKAN services by using strong passwords, enabling MFA where available, keeping systems updated, avoiding insecure networks, and preventing unauthorized access.
Report suspicious activity
Report suspicious emails, calls, links, account activity, impersonation attempts, or unauthorized service requests through ARKAN approved support channels.
