Arkan Genesys Cloud Connect: Ordering Guide for Genesys AppFoundary
This guide provides detailed instructions on how to correctly order Arkan Genesys Cloud Connect for Genesys Cloud CX from the Genesys AppFoundry. It covers contract types, SKU selection, required add-ons, channel sizing examples, and phone number subscription models.
Important: All SKUs listed in this guide are specific to the Genesys AppFoundry. Phone number subscriptions are not included in these SKUs and must be arranged separately.
Overview
Arkan Genesys Cloud Connect provides Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) connectivity for Genesys Cloud CX through Arkan's carrier-grade infrastructure. On the Genesys AppFoundry, the solution is available in two deployment variants and three contract types.
A correct order requires the selection of a deployment model, the required setup SKU, the appropriate Telco channel SKU (if applicable), the correct contract type, and the required channel quantity.
Contract Types on AppFoundry
Subscription SKUs are available under the following contract types. Setup SKUs are one-time charges and are not contract-based.

Phone Number Subscriptions
The SKUs described in this document cover PSTN channel connectivity, infrastructure, and integration. They do not include DID numbers, toll-free numbers, or phone number subscriptions. Phone numbers must be arranged separately, as described in the deployment variant sections below.
Deployment Variants
On-Premise Deployment (Virtual)
This variant is used when customers require connectivity inside their network due to regulatory requirements, data sovereignty, local PBX integration, or local SIP termination.

Deployment Model:
The on-premises deployment is a virtual solution with no physical hardware supplied. A virtual machine is deployed inside the customer's network and is compatible with VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.
PRI Gateway (Optional):
In legacy PSTN scenarios, a PRI Gateway may be used. This is only applicable if the customer operates PRI infrastructure and is not required in SIP-based environments.
Phone Number Subscription (On-Premise):
For the on-premise model, customers can subscribe to phone numbers directly from a local PSTN provider or from Arkan, if the service is available in their country. Arkan Genesys Cloud Connect supports both of these models.

Note: The subscription SKU cannot be ordered without the setup SKU.
On-Premises Channel Sizing:
Each subscription unit supports 10 channels.
Examples:
For a requirement of 30 concurrent PSTN calls, the order should include three units of GCAFP-170-NV-AKNGCCOPREM10CH and one unit of GCAFS-170-NV-AKNGCOPREMSETUP. For 10 concurrent PSTN calls, one unit of each SKU is required. In both scenarios, phone numbers must be arranged separately, either from a local carrier or from Arkan.
Cloud Deployment
This is a fully cloud-based deployment with no VM or on-premises infrastructure. It provides direct carrier connectivity and country-based PSTN termination.

Telco Channel Rules (Cloud):
Each Telco SKU unit includes 10 PSTN channels and is priced per country. The quantity ordered must reflect the required concurrent PSTN capacity.
Phone Number Subscription (Cloud Model):
In the Cloud deployment model, phone numbers can be obtained either from Arkan, which provides DID, toll-free, and local numbers (where available), or through a Bring Your Own Agreement (BYOA). The BYOA option allows customers to use their own carrier agreement, provided the carrier is approved by Arkan and complies with all interoperability requirements. This option is subject to technical validation.
Note: Not all carriers are supported. Pre-sales validation is required for BYOA.
